Interim Dean Mafi Announces New Associate Deans

Professors Judy Bieber (History), Sharon Nepstad (Sociology), and Fred Gibbs (History) are now filling key leadership roles in the College Dean’s offices. Dr. Bieber was appointed as the new Senior Associate Dean on July 1 to succeed Philip Ganderton. Dr. Nepstad, who is the new Associate Dean for Student Success, and Dr. Gibbs, the new Assistant Dean for Curriculum, were both appointed effective August 1. In addition, Dr. Sally Siedel (Physics & Astronomy) has recently been appointed as Special Assistant to the Dean for the Assessment of Graduate Assistant Appointments.
