Walter graduated from UNM with BA in Psychology, focusing on his interests in learning and memory. Prior to his time at UNM he worked for several years as an IT support specialist for Eagle County School District in western Colorado. His focus was on both Apple and PC hardware, software and network troubleshooting. As the district grew and technology advanced he stepped into a project management role which allowed him to bring new and exciting educational programs and software into the district to augment teacher's lessons. His services were retained at a distance once he left for New Mexico as an IT consultant specializing in video conferencing, web communication and, communication assessments. His goal is to bring the same quality services to the College of Arts and Sciences.
