- English
- History
- Linguistics
- Philosophy
- Museum Studies
- Maxwell Museum of Anthropology / Native American Studies
Additionally, Political Science and Communication & Journalism are searching for new faculty and would welcome faculty with similar expertise.
UNM is a minority-serving and Hispanic-serving institution, located on the traditional homelands of the Sandia Pueblo. We serve a state with 23 Native American tribal nations and a vibrant Indigenous intellectual and creative presence. Our Department of Native American Studies offers BA, MA, and PhD degrees and enjoys strong institutional and statewide support. The College of Arts & Sciences at UNM is also the home to the Institute for American Indian Research and Native American Budget and Policy Institute.
This is an exciting moment for scholars whose work advances Indigenous scholarship, supports the UNM student population, and serves the State of New Mexico. We will also launch searches for faculty in other areas of expertise, including in the natural sciences, mathematics, social sciences, and the humanities for a total of over 30 full-time faculty searches.
Searches will be managed by individual departments. Please help us spread the word.
