Degree Program Assessment
Any Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD program requires an assessment plan and annual reporting. Reports are due annually, emailed as attachments to assessmentas@unm.edu. More details are provided below.
Deadline for Academic Year 2026-2027 (reset year) assessment reflections and program plans: Friday, December 11, 2026
- What do departments have to do? Departments need to have an assessment plan on file for every degree program and submit assessment report(s) annually. Please attend a workshop or email assessmentas@unm.edu if you do not know if your program has a plan. Plans should be updated at least every 5 years.
- What do I submit during the reset year (AY-26-27)? Please submit a separate reflection and assessment plan for each program. Click here for the reflection template and here for the new combined plan and report template.
- When do I submit? Deadline is Friday December 11, 2026 for all programs.
