Brisha began working at the University of New Mexico in August 2000 as a Case Worker for UNM Career Works, contracted through the State of New Mexico.  She transferred to Arts & Sciences in 2005 and is currently the Administrative Officer for the College assisting the Associate Dean of Instruction & Curriculum.  She is a UNM alumnus with a BA in Criminology.  Brisha is a New Mexico native from the South Valley. She has one daughter, currently attending Albuquerque High School, and is a licensed Bail Bondsman for the State of New Mexico outside of UNM.
