UNM anthropologist uses chimpanzees as model to understand aging

Dr. Melissa Emery Thompson, professor of Anthropology and co-director of the Comparative Human and Primate Physiology Center (CHmPP), is leading a project funded by the National Institute on Aging to examine the human aging process by studying chimpanzees.
