Miyake Research Group improves quantum computing algorithms

The Miyake Research Group, led by Associate Professor of Physics and Quantum computation, Akimasa Miyake, has been taking part in an initiative called the Software-Tailored Architecture for Quantum co-design, or STAQ, This project seeks to make quantum computing a more practical tool for future research and is funded by a $15 million grant from the National Science Foundation.
