I've lived in New Mexico my whole life and received a BBA in Marketing and Information Systems from UNM in 2015. During my undergrad, I worked as a student employee in recruitment and enrollment management serving as a consultant for financial aid, registrar, admissions, and everything in between. Currently, I am pursing a MS in Sports Administration. I enjoy being active whether through weight lifting or playing sports and I really like dogs. I enjoy helping students with their college career and navigating through the university's resources. I am excited to help students succeed with their academic goals.

Ask anyone who knows me, I bleed cherry and silver! I am a proud alum of UNM with a BS in Signed Language Interpreting, a BA in Journalism and Mass Communication and an MA in Language, Literature and Sociocultural Studies. I've been around for-ev-er. I started my career at UNM in the Admissions and Recruitment office, then spent 3 years in the Student Activities Center working primarily with student organizations before becoming an advisor in Arts & Sciences. I earned a BA in History from Grand Valley State University in Allendale, MI and an MA in History with an emphasis in Public History from Colorado State University in Fort Collins, CO. I also have work towards a Master's of Science in Accounting. Although I am originally from the west side of Michigan, I spent two years in Fort Collins working on my MA and a year and a half living and working in Casper, WY before relocating to Albuquerque in the Fall of 2014. I love the college campus atmosphere and I enjoy working with students to help them make the most of their time here at UNM. I believe it is important that students set themselves up for success in their future endeavors by actively participating in their college experience. As an advisor, I am here to help students navigate that college experience by providing them with the information they need while engaging them in the advising process

In the summer of 2012, I finished grad school, followed my girlfriend to New Mexico as she took a job at Sandia National Labs, and haven't looked back since. A year later, that girl I followed became my wife, and a year after that, we welcomed our son into the world. We have fallen completely in love with New Mexico, and spend our free time hiking, climbing, and eating our way through the state. I was born and raised in the D.C. area, and did my B.A. in Spanish and Latin American Studies at both Virginia Tech and American University. After graduation, I took a year off to volunteer as an English teacher in Ecuador, then received my M.S. in Educational Technology from the University of Kansas. I am a Hokie, Eagle, Jayhawk, and now proud to be a Lobo. My entire career has been centered around working with students both in and out of the classroom, and I can't think of more rewarding field. My door is always open, so please come by if you need help shaping your academic plan, negotiating campus life, or simply to say hello. I look forward to getting to know all of you here at UNM, and helping you get the most out of your college experience in any way that I can.

Born and raised in Santa Fe, New Mexico, I arrived years ago at UNM with no familiarity with the "big campus" culture. After one year at UNM, I chose to leave for one year and found myself in the confusing and awe-inspiring worlds of the South Pacific, New Zealand, Rome, Spain, South America, Mexico, and New York. That propelled me into my decision to return to UNM where I finished my B.A. in Secondary Education and earned licensure in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL). Since graduation I have backpacked through Thailand, Malaysia, China, and Nepal and trekked to Mt. Everest Base Camp. I have always returned to New Mexico to work with the population I love so much and began at UNM as an advisor with Upward Bound in 2011. I pull from my professional and non-professional experience in life when working with students and believe that success is attributed to hard work and dedication. I am happy to be a resource to help students navigate the university and look forward to contributing to the UNM community for years to come.

Gu'wa'zee (Hello) Lobos! The place I call home is Laguna, New Mexico and my greetings were given in my traditional language. I am a proud alum of UNM with a BA in Psychology and a minor in Family Studies. Additionally, I recently earned an MA in Higher Education from the University of Arizona in fall 2015. As a UNM grad and native New Mexican, I am very excited to be back in the Land of Enchantment and to be returning to the UNM community as a staff member. The opportunities provided through my educational experiences, coupled with community involvement have tremendously expanded my knowledge, critical thinking, and network. From my Senior Honors Project to in class assignments to volunteer work, I was typically provided the chance to address issues and brainstorm solutions for specific communities within New Mexico. Together, we can find ways to apply your knowledge beyond the classroom by finding connections, resources, and solutions to enhance your educational experience, personal, and professional goals. I look forward to working with you in navigating your college experience at UNM. GO LOBOS!

Born and raised in Las Cruces, NM, I have spent almost my entire life in New Mexico and I am loving living in Albuquerque. I received my Bachelor of Arts in History degree from NMSU in 2010 and I have completed some graduate work in Environmental Economics and Policy at Duke University in Durham, NC (and yes, I went to the basketball games, Go Blue Devils!) I was also a Policy and Lobbying Intern in Washington, DC while I was a student at Duke and I loved the atmosphere there. I decided to take some time off from school and move back to New Mexico, but I plan to finish my master's degree soon. In my free time, I love to travel, go to shows, eat delicious sushi (with lots of ginger and wasabi), watch movies, and spend time with friends and family. I look forward to meeting you and helping you succeed here at UNM!

I finished a double major in Political Science and Environmental Science here at UNM and am now pursuing a Master's degree in Geography. I've worked at the university for some years now and always find that it is one of the richest and most endearing environments that someone can spend their time in. I've become an advisor to help students navigate the college adventure and I want all students to experience the same opportunities that I've had. I am a New Mexico native, but I love to travel and do so whenever I can. I love meeting new people and sharing stories because I feel that our differences are the best of what we can share with each other. I'm definitely a social creature so if you've got a problem or you have a story to share, please find me. Just be ready to get a story in return.
